Today's Meet vs. Lopatcong 6/29
CUDAS!
It’s meet day! The day has finally come!
Today’s meet is against Lopatcong, we are the home team. I wanted to go over some details on tonight’s meet so we are ready to go!
Please make sure you are ready to warm up, each team only has around 30 minutes and we have 2 groups within that time so one group will have 15 minutes of warm up and the other will have 10 minutes. Lopatcong will have the pool from 5:35 – 6:00 pm.
You can find the meet sheets around the competition pool. Once we have them printed we will hang them up for everyone. Please have your swimmers swipe their cards when arriving for the meet at the pools front desk so the pool always have a count of how many swimmers and families are on the grounds at all times.

Warm-up: 5:10-5:35 pm (10 & under 5:10-5:20 / 11 & older 5:20-5:35)
Meet Start: 6:00 pm
COVID Mitigation: Mask mandates have been lifted, but 6 feet social distancing is still required. However, anyone who wants to wear a mask, may wear a mask.
Social Distancing: Will be enforced in the competition area ONLY (immediate pool deck to starts/finishes/sides, marshalling area, 12/U aged sitting areas). If you watch from outside the immediate competition area, no restrictions are enforced. If sitting/standing in the competition area, especially with unvaccinated age groups, social distancing will be enforced.
Volunteers: Stay spread out, 6 feet away for 12/U age groups. For example, timers may temporarily crowd to get the times at the end of a race, but then step back and spread out to allow younger swimmers to exit the competition area without being crowded in.
Coaches & Volunteers: Bring masks just in case we end up in a group.
Swimmers MUST stay in the team area. They may visit their parents, but they MUST be seated throughout most of the meet in the team sitting area. NO PLAYING in the pool is allowed.
Swimmers MUST keep their suits on UNTIL the meet is OVER. This is our uniform, and it stays on until everyone on our team in every event is done.
Swimmers may bring cards, small games, or electronic devices to play while waiting to be marshaled to their events.
Swimmers should bring a snack and non-sugary drink. Cuda Café will be up & running!
No one leaves until we have done our last cheer, after the last event, and we have ALL cleaned up our area.
See you on deck, GO CUDAS!
Coach Nicole
