Belvidere Barracudas

Welcome swimmers of all levels - beginners through seniors (including students graduating this spring). The Belvidere Barracudas compete against teams in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as part of the Penn Jersey Swim League. Our program promotes healthy individual competition, teamwork, and a fun, enthusiastic environment.

No experience? No problem. Summer swim is designed to be fun while building strength and endurance, and is a great way to prepare for fall sports.

We offer both a Competitive Swim Team and a Developmental Group.

Developmental swimmers should be comfortable in the water and able to listen and follow coach directions. Coaches will work with small groups, including in-water instruction when needed. Our goal is to move swimmers to the competitive team when it’s in their best interest. Evaluations will take place during evening practices, and families will be notified of practice group assignments. 

Registration Fees
• $120 — First swimmer
• $85 — Each additional swimmer

Volunteer Requirements
• Each family must volunteer 3 times at dual meets
• Each family is also asked to contribute to the concession stand at home meets, a key team fundraiser

Pool Membership Requirement  

All swimmers must also be members of the Belvidere Town Pool for insurance purposes. This is separate from swim team registration. Membership information is available at: www.belviderenj.net/pool
